I love this and immediately thought of the struggles we're facing with a new business in the home services industry.
The goal is to be a national company with many branches but we're in our infancy. There's a lot of tension between moving fast and setting up long-lasting systems that can scale with the business.
It's interesting to be a part of because our small team has a nice diversity in terms of focus, but it's by individual. Some individuals are highly focused on the fast lanes, while others are highly focused on the slow lanes. And as we each try to compensate for each other's lack of focus on certain lanes, our focus narrows further on the lane that had our attention in the first place.
It's been very difficult to get everyone to keep the other lanes in mind to create overall balance and, to the point of this illustration, stability.

Really interesting to think how this plays out within companies. Thanks. Good luck!
Also very interesting as me and others face long term recovery and rebuild after the Eaton Fire in LA county. Thank you for sharing
Thank you for this beautiful and clear rendition of Brand’s groundbreaking framework
Thanks, Stacy!
