Found one slipped under the bed last night. Almost made up under the pillow but since it was a book on politics, it had announced it presence and gave its location away.
I definitely tsundoku! Sagans quote puts me in mind of what Stephen King wrote in his book On Writing; that writing is a true form of magic, of sending the ideas in my head directly into yours.
Loved this. I think the people living in northern Europe in the 1430's would have not believed this could be a THING. We are living in an embarrassment of luxuries.
I’m a much milder tsundokist than I used to be, but I’ve got this public library not far away that I consider my great big tsundoku pile so I never feel short of books.
Yes, I mentioned the library in the podcast. I remember loving trips to the library in primary school. It’s been lovely going with our kids in turn. Every visit to a library goes so fast.
